Everyday is another day to walk with Jesus. I like to get up early. I like to work out for 20 minutes. I like to listen to an inspiring podcast. I like to do Bible study for 20 minutes. Then I like to walk my dog for 20-60 minutes. This is just another day for me. This is my routine before I walk the kids to school or before I go to work.
Making the time to stay fit and have communication with God makes all the difference in the mundane routines. If there is one thing I could encourage anyone else to do, it would be to schedule this time for yourself. Because at the end of the day, at the end of the week, I feel accomplished in sticking to my physical and spiritual health goals.
So when the moments come that I feel overwhelmed by the longevity of life, I am reminded. Today, I feel good. Today, I get to walk with Jesus on another adventure. Every day does count. It’s the little routines of maintaining spiritual health & enjoying a relationship with my Creator that really matter in the end. So I choose ‘Hope for Eternity’ in every moment I am plagued by thoughts of hopelessness.
I matter. You matter. And our lives matter. Today I shall live my life to the fullest and strive for the Best version of me.
